The Lesbian Social Group of Knoxville TN LSG is over 20 yrs old. We are just casual community way to meet other women. We offer activities such as meeting, Women's Dances, Annual Hikes, and Bike Rides. We also provide resources and support.
We learned that people are having a hard time locating local LGBTQIA+ friendly drug and alcohol addiction treatment options on the internet so we created this free rehab center locator to help. We combined the government's LGBTQIA+ freindly treatment center database (SAMHSA) with modern location technology that works everywhere in the United States.The LGBTQIA Friendly Rehab Centers Near You technology uses your location to generate a local listing of all the LGBTQIA+ rehab centers in and around your community. Substance use disorders have a greater effect on LGBTQ+ people than on the heterosexual population. The LGBTQ+ community must overcome several obstacles, including being denied substance abuse treatment because of their sexual identity. However, through the proper understanding and accommodation of LGBTQ+ care principles, substance abuse treatment can be successful.

There are few organizations which are geared solely for those who identify as pansexual, and many bisexual organizations include alternative identities such as: pansexual, omnisexual, multisexual, and other non-monosexualities, so representation and visibility likely also play a part in how people choose to self-identify.

Items can be picked up or dropped off at either pantry location. Community members are encouraged to leave any leftovers or extra food in either location.
The pantry located inside the Knox Pride Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00AM - 4:00PM.
We partner with Second Harvest on some food items at this location currently.
The Community Fridge featured outside the Knox Pride Center is open 24/7 and located by the Sam Duff Memorial Park bathrooms.
We have a community garden by the Knox Pride Center building with fresh, seasonal produce that are available to be taken year-round as well. This garden is a collaboration with Beardsley Community Farm.
The pantry at South Press Coffee Shop is open the same hours that South Press is open: Tuesday through Saturday 8 AM-6 PM. South Press is closed on Sunday and Monday (subject to change, check their social media pages for the most accurate updated information).
The pantry shelf at South Press Coffee Shop is on the right side by the door when you first walk in.
