Please wear a blue shirt so we can all find each other.

We’re excited to be back with Elkmont Exchange to celebrate Pride Month with Pride Yoga! We believe in acceptance for everyone, community & friendship, and love.

Join us in celebrating our friends in the LGBTQ+ community with an empowering yoga flow and glitter! Class will be led by Kris Evans.

Dressing up is optional, but let's have some fun! Come early or stay after to get glittered and take cool pics! Free Class Pass to BRY to anyone who dresses up in costume! ;)

Knox Pridefest 2019

Knox Pridefest 2019 is an open (and free) celebration of music, celebration and speakers focused on promoting Equality and Inclusion of ALL people. This year it will be held at the same venue as last year, the Mary Costa lawn next to Knoxville Coliseum in downtown Knoxville on June 22nd, 2019 from 12pm-8:00pm. This will follow the Pride Parade, being held earlier that day, with the end destination being the festival grounds.

Throughout the afternoon and evening, vendors will have the opportunity to display information about their organizations and/or business, sell or handout items of interest and interact with our community to promote inclusion and equality for the LGBTQ citizens of Knoxville and surrounding areas.

In order to ensure the safety of everyone and to comply with our obligations please be aware of the following:

PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are not permitted into Knox Pridefest: bottles or cans; outside food; coolers; backpacks; Frisbees and beach balls; laser pointers; any noisemaking devices; fireworks; illegal drugs and outside alcohol; weapons or any dangerous devices of any type; tents/canopies; and beach umbrellas.

PERMITTED ITEMS
Blankets/Towels, small umbrellas, purses, fanny packs, small bags, sunscreen, strollers, diaper bags, chairs, dogs in adherence with city ordinance

All patrons, employees and entertainers will be subject to a search of personal belongings. Anyone that refuses to turn over unauthorized items or refuses to be searched will not be allowed access into the KCAC.

There is water provided at Knox Pridefest for free. All Bags will be searched by KPD before entry. Having Folding chairs out of bags will help speed up KPD's security search.

*All bags entering the festival grounds are subject to search.
*Coolers are NOT permitted.*
*Weapons are prohibited.
*You may not bring alcoholic beverages into the festival or carry them out with you.
*In the event of a weather emergency we will evacuate everyone into the parking structure adjacent to the lawn.

You may bring folding\camp chairs and small awnings are permitted, but only in designated areas. Leashed dogs are permitted, but please clean up after your pet. We reserve the right to have you move or remove the awnings\chairs\pets to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our guests.

Art Out in the City

Knox Pride is excited to be hosting its 11th Annual Art Out in the City Art Show & Auction (Art Out)! This year’s Art Out event will be held on June 14th from 6 pm - 9 pm at Jackson Terminal in the heart of Knoxville’s Old City.

The event consists of around 100 live and silent auction pieces from a variety of donors. Although the event prides itself on its enormous selection of art, items donated by local businesses allow for Art Out to have something for everyone! Guests have around two hours to bid on items of their choosing all while being able to partake in locally catered food plus a delicious selection of beer and wine.

There is a $20 cover at the door, and $15 online presale expiring at 6:00 PM June 13th. All guests must be 18+ to enter and 21+ to drink.

Knox Pride Pub Crawl

Join us June 7th from 6-10pm as we visit 13 local pubs for an evening of fun!

All revelers will start off the night by picking up their wristband and swag bag on the 2nd floor of Preservation Pub.

Each ticket includes:

  • entrance to all the participating pubs

  • swag bags

  • drink specials at each stop

  • hop on and hop off the Knox Brew Tour Pub Crawl bus

  • a raffle and "make the best poker hand" contest for prize baskets

We will end the evening at Crafty Bastard, with live music starting at 8pm. Drop off your poker hand card at Crafty by 10:30pm for your chance to win.

Adventures with Knox Pride - Rock Climbing

Spend the evening with us, climbing the walls!

$15 a person (includes a harness)

Check in at the front desk and let them know that you are with Knox Pride to get the discount rate. All participants will need a waiver on file if they have never been to this gym before. Waivers can be filled out ahead of time at www.onsightrockgym.com. Click on the first visit tab.

Please wear athletic attire and closed toed shoes. It is recommended to wear tennis shoes unless you want to rent climbing shoes.

We will have an orientation at the beginning, where we will be taught the basics of how to use an autobelay and all general safety rules, tips and tricks.
