Art Out in the City (Art Out) is one of our biggest fundraisers hosted in June each year. Since its start in 2009, it has become one of our most popular events where hundreds of members of our Knoxville community come together to enjoy an evening of art and items donated by some of the best local artists and businesses in the area.
The event consists of around 100 live and silent auction pieces from a variety of donors. Although the event prides itself on its enormous selection of art, items donated by local businesses allow for Art Out to have something for everyone. Guests have around two hours to bid on items of their choosing all while being able to partake in locally catered food plus a delicious selection of beer and wine.
Its casual environment has attracted a diverse group of the Knoxville community and continues to expand each year. As always, the proceeds from Art Out go to the growth of Knox Pridefest, and keeping the festival free to our community.
Knox Pride Java Tour is a fundraiser started in 2017 as a response to the amazing coffee culture in Knoxville Tennessee. As severe coffee enthusiasts and frequent coffee house adventurers, two board members started this event from the bottom up, approaching all of the downtown Knoxville coffee shops with the opportunity to be a part of this event to help support Knox Pride. With a total of nine Java Tour Sponsors in the first year, the community was invited to purchase “passports” and travel through downtown, trying local coffee brews throughout the weekend, while also enjoying event specific activities and specialties offered by the coffee houses. Passport holders were also entered to win a variety of coffee centered prizes throughout the weekend. Future dates TBD.
